Cindy brings 30+ years of experience, with the majority of those managing her design studio in Maryland where she provides creative full service graphic design to diverse industry, government and nonprofits in National Security, Education, Food and Hospitality, Real Estate, Public Health and Community Services. Cindy is an organized, flexible, dependable, enthusiastic, Senior Graphic Designer and Creative Director with an extensive background in all varieties of digital and print media. She is a conceptual thinker, possessing a superior work ethic and high standards. She is well versed in project coordination and has experience working with clients and client representatives, out-of-house creative professionals and vendors. Cindy stays current with relevant technologies and software tools while also possessing an extensive partner network offering complimentary integrated services.

 

Cindy studied Visual Communications with a Graphic Design specialty at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, where she honed her creativity and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Post college, Cindy worked for two creative firms in the Annapolis, Maryland area. At both, she worked closely with other designers, sales team members as well as printers and vendors responsible for the completion of a wide variety of projects. She had a track record of highly satisfied and repeat clients delivering new and improved corporate identity, marketing and outreach materials, brochures and flyers, instructional design and educational materials, trade show displays, and documentation.

Cindy took her computer knowledge to a new level while working part time for Apple. She trained customers through their One to One in-store training on various programs and system operations. She especially enjoyed working with a variety of people and personalities to help them understand and get the most out of their new technology.

Cindy has been in the DMV since 1984 as part of an Air Force family who settled here after her father's long military career. Cindy lives in Ellicott City with her husband, Ken. They have two adult children, a daughter and a son, as well as one very special granddaughter. She loves entertaining, traveling, antiquing, and snuggling her two adopted cattle dogs Bennie and Kate.

Prior to co-founding SourceFly, David was Executive Vice President for Catapult. In this role, he established and managed Catapult Federal Services (CFS) as a new business unit beginning in 2017, which grew to $11.8 million in revenue by 2020. CFS provides Information Technology, Systems Engineering and Health Informatics services to the federal contracting community, and is now part of Catapult Solutions Group. David was responsible for start-up,  strategic planning, Facility Security Clearance (FCL), revenue growth, financial performance management, marketing, and overall executive management, leaving CFS in 2021.

 

Before joining CFS, David held positions in executive leadership and business development over a 15 year period at various IT Services and Consulting firms, primarily for DISYS and EDGE.  While at EDGE, David established and managed the Government Services Division, which was later acquired by Artech Government Services. His dynamic career experience has focused on building successful relationships, teaming partnerships, and organically developing new business revenue.

 

After earning his bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University, David spent the first six years of his career in the physical security industry. During this period, he primarily worked for Tyco International (ADT Security) in a business development capacity, applying his hunter’s mentality to organically develop new customer accounts, supporting federal systems integrators and commercial customers.

 

David applies a consultative and resourceful approach as part of the business capture and service delivery process, focusing on driving value in support of customer business objectives. Collaborating with customers directly to achieve their mission, David has successfully uncovered and solved significant pain points through delivering solution-oriented products and services. David is a leader in sales production and has consistently achieved several annual performance-based awards, as well as President’s Club status, across the leading-edge firms he has represented.

 

David is a native to the Washington D.C. area. Growing up in a U.S. Air Force family, he has maintained his Washington D.C. roots with his wife and two kids.  David enjoys spending personal time traveling and playing golf.

BOARD

The primary role of SourceFly’s Advisory Board is to provide strategic guidance to our team for the benefit of our customers and employees.

To do this, we have adopted corporate governance principles aimed at ensuring that the Board is independent and fully informed on the key strategic and risk issues SourceFly faces.  Our Advisory Board is composed of Senior-level executive leaders with extensive experience in federal contracting, operations management and technology practice management.
